It all started with a dream. When I was a little girl I was OBSESSED with everything fashion. Let me tell you my Barbie's closet was the best one in town. At the age of 8 I would not let my mom leave the house without my fashion advice and it just went on from there.
But, my fashion journey was never the easiest. I was always a "bigger girl" and back then plus size fashion wasn't yet perfected or cute for girls my age. It also was very difficult to go shopping with friends who could go in anywhere and find ALL OF THE THINGS... So I knew from that second I had a mission I needed to accomplish later in life.
Fast forward to college time, I already knew what I wanted to do with my career, heck like I mentioned, I knew what I wanted to do since I was little. I went to school for Fashion Merchandising and Business. Right after that I worked in retail and a couple of years later I knew it was time to start my dream. In 2021 I decided it was time to start B Dominique Boutique.
When we were in the works of opening our mission was clear and simple...
- Fashion for all.
- Every body is a beautiful body.
- The size you wear is not important.
I wanted to make sure that every single woman could walk into B Dominique Boutique and leave feeling like a brand new woman. Every person should have an easy and fun shopping experience, shopping shouldn't be hard...
